A Memories Tale......

Every memory has a tale and that is what a decor is made of!:) lots of memories... places traveled ..places yet to visit...childhood memorabilia...or a piece of history!

I have many such memories of my own which have a special place in my heart.... that connect me to my home and roots!

As i was growing up we changed several homes but somethings which always remained were the beautiful 'Thoranas' or Door hangings that greeted us at the door.I also have the fondest memories of my mother drawing exquisite 'rangoli' patterns on our 'verandah' floor every festive occasion or sometimes just without reason she would teach us patterns based on a certain geometry early on a sunday morning and we would be so excited with our accomplishment on the floor full of life and colour....

My college days would'nt be complete without the earthy coloured khadi kurtis, colourful matching bangles, kolapuri chappals, shawls and ethnic bags! These colours and materials have thus transcended into my decor and always make me feel at home!:)

I love the warmth of the Indian colours and patterns and the things I grew up with will always stay with me no matter wherever I go I would carry a part of my home away from home!
